Summary: Approximately 30,000 Oregonians live in licensed long-term care settings, including nursing facilities, residential care and assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes. This session will offer multiple viewpoints related to the challenges and opportunities those living and working in these settings have faced during the pandemic. Learning Objectives:

Jack has worked in Long-Term Care support and advocacy since earning his Bachelor’s degree in Russian and Eastern European Studies, and subsequently a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration. Prior to working with DHS, Jack served as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Assisted Living Administrator, as well as in non-profit senior and long-term care support services.
Fred graduated from Willamette University College of Law with a J.D. and a Certificate in Law and Government, from Portland State University with a Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H.) and a focus on Health Administration and Policy, and from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s in Arts and Science. He has been an active member of the Oregon State Bar since 2008.
Meg has had the good fortune of serving seniors in long-term care for 16 years. She is passionate about providing quality of life to seniors and a great work environment for employees. She is grateful to have a career platform that allows her to make a positive impact in the community. In her free time Meg likes to work out and spend time with family. She also enjoys traveling.
