Medicaid Services and PACE: An Overview

During the first half of this webinar, Michelle Douglas, a representative from Multnomah County Aging, Disability, and Veteran Services (ADVSD) Long-Term Services and Supports (Medicaid), will discuss financial eligibility criteria and functional (physical) eligibility criteria for Medicaid Long-Term Services and Supports in Oregon. In the second half of this event, Tory Thompson will introduce the services of Elderplace PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for Elderly), including the program's benefits and who is eligible. There will be time after the presentations to ask questions.

Intended audience: This presentation is appropriate for professionals who work with seniors and everyone who is interested in an overview of financial and functional eligibility criteria for Medicaid services in Oregon.

About the presenters:

Michelle Douglas
Michelle is a Quality Assurance Coordinator with ADVSD Long-Term Services and Supports (Medicaid). Michelle has worked for Multnomah County ADVSD since 2013 and was previously a member of the Long-Term Services and Supports intake unit with Multnomah County.

Tory Thompson
Before joining Providence ElderPlace in 2016 Tory worked in health care and all levels of senior housing for over 35 years. She began her work as a Recreation Therapist and later worked in Marketing. Tory has trained both professional and family caregivers in dementia care and has been a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association.
